Steven is an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of Australia.

Coming to faith in Jesus Christ in his mid-twenties, while completing a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Western Australia, he was ordained some 13 years later after studies at Regent College (Vancouver) and Ridley College (Melbourne).

Along the way, he has worked as a zoological field assistant, postdoctoral research scientist, actor (in a Christian performing arts company), in chaplaincy (university college, school and hospital), and as the pastor of a suburban church in Perth, Western Australia, for 12 years.

As a Christian pastor, Steven is passionate about biblical preaching and teaching, faithful scholarship, and prayerful pastoral care.

Steven currently lives in Perth, Western Australia. He is married to Jo, a pharmacist. Steven’s interests include, amongst other things, birding, cars and aircraft, history and films.
